AWS BOOTCAMP

Overview

The GirlCode online coding bootcamps is an intensive 3 month training that prepares people with little or no prior experience to work as web developers.

Participants work in a simulated work environment where they building real products out of real challenges incorporating feedback from the Facilitators. This training model mimics the process of learning on the job; the “facilitators” are senior colleagues

The Bootcamps are also about preparing women for work readiness. Tasks are designed to teach you the practical skills needed to develop your programming ability. You will receive personalised mentorship and career coaching as you work your way through industry-aligned course content, with code reviews after every module, professional feedback.

Program Requirements:

This is a full-time program, you will not be able to join the program if you are currently working or studying at another institution.

NB: This program is for women who were retrenched as a result of COVID-19
• Gender: Female
• Age: 18 – 35 years of age
• Qualifications: STEM Degree/Diploma
• Commitment: 12 weeks
• Working English proficiency is mandatory
• Must have a laptop and stable internet

Start Date: 1 February 2022

End Date: 30 April 2022
